I'll be rooting for the Steelers for lack of a better team to root for, but remember that their playoff run is forever tainted by the fact that they didn't beat the "real" Bengals thanks to a cheap tackle right out of the Rodney Harrison playbook. I just hope we can stop hearing the Bettis "coming home" sob stories every 15minutes.
Hay all you Die-Hard Denver Fans. Your team has been very good for years but when the Famous "7" Retired, it was over for awhile. Even many of us here in KC Cheered on the Broncos during your Chapionship years.
You can't have it all the time and every year. We know how you feel about the Chiefs. We feel the same way:> Just losers.
The Chiefs haven't done anything since 1970 when they won the big-one. I was in Vietnam then!! Couldn't do it with Joe Montana, Marcus Allan, Akoya, Ect.
So, do Ya want to buy another NFL team. I'll sell you the KC Chiefs for $10.00, then you can name them the "Cog-Train-Dummies" after all the little trains you have up the side of the Mountain. Or, the "Kissing Camel-DuDas," Manitu-Dip-Wads," or the "Colorado Springs-Over-Paid-Losers."
The Bottom Line:> It wasn't all Jake Plummer. It was the entire team who let you down.
Again, I'll sell your the "Chiefs," Cheap!

I grew up in Denver and had the misfortune of relocating to Detroit. I had hoped to see the Broncos come the Detroit Rock City in Feb.... no such luck.
Comeon' Coach..... Bubby sucked, Griese sucked, Maddox sucked.... and now Jake walks up and hands the ball over to the Steelers 4 times ????
It's time to draft up or trade for a decent quarterback... no more "projects", no more "just needs a little polishing"...... you had all the pieces this year EXCEPT at QB.
No way Shanahan or Bolan will get rid of Jake this year. They will ride him for a few more seasons. Besides, when Shanahan loves a quarterback he sticks with him! Remember the grease man? I bet Shanahan would love to have him as Jake's backup!
I would love to see you get out there and play. Instead of trashing on Jake for not playing his best, how about applauding the huge improvements he has made? He's human too, and we all make mistakes. Give the guy a break..I'm sure he isn't feeling too great about the outcome of the game either.

I have been critical of Jake too, and I continue to wonder why he does some of the things he does, I also wonder how he made some of the plays he has made.
Yes, I would love to have Elway, in his prime, back. But barring that, Jake is winning, and will do his share until Jay is ready to take over. You had better hope he is as good as he seems now. If not, he will not be the first QB with buckets of promise to disappoint the fans and go home in shame.
Let's just hope he does better next week, San Diego will not present the gifts Oakland did. Denver will win if they play well enough to win. Another game like today, and there will be one more in the "L" column.
