All Things Broncos: Jake to sense urgency vs. Colts

  • Andrew · 3 years ago
Don't expect Jake to be spectacular. Whatever it is, this funk he is in, don't expect it to just go away in one week. But if he does manage a decent game against the Colts, it could go a long way to lifting his confidence level and shed some of the funk. Trust the Denver D and go 12th man.

I'm pretty "Zen" about the whole thing. Naturally I want
to win this game with Indy, but
if we can't get pumped for this game with so much on the
line...1st place in the entire AFC! and most of the country watching? well...then we won't
get very far when postseason rolls around. Bring the PASSION!! EVERY play.

Everyone has to step up for this one. I see a tight game, that can be won or lost on any of the following; offense, defense, special teams, turnovers, officiating, weather and luck. Jake may be playing for his last chance, and he may get by and he may come through. Indy has to stop Tatum, no doubt they are going to try to play a ball control game, and hope the defense holds Manning.

Everybody needs to step up for this game, and that includes the fans. Jake can have a big game, just because he hasn't yet doesn't mean he's not capable. I'd like to see the BBC turned loose, Bell, Bell, and somebody who runs HARD Cobb

The "Git-R-Done Defense" Will win this for us. The Colts won't be able to run on us so they will be forced to pass and will have to test the champ. We will score on defense this week that i guarentee.

Denver wins 17-14.DEFENCE ALL THE WAY> IT's also time for Plummer to wake up and play like he can. I still don't know what his problem is. One thing for sure, Jay Cutler is more than ready to jump in and show us is CANON ARM.

This game really dose come down to Jake. What makes you love and hate jake is that he is either on or way off. His best throws come on the run which just dosen't seem to make sence but its always fun to watch. If jake can settel down and make some consistant accurate throws we wil win. Lets hope Jake did his homework and practiced throwing allot of balls at moving targets this week.
Lets get behind Jake and pray he makes some good desitions and some accurate throws. Go Broncos!!

What a game! That is why you play them. Two of best in the league. It had it all, and the crowd never gave up on the Broncos or got down on Jake. At this point in the season, the Colts are about three points better. Denver's Defense was brought down to earth, but they will not see anything like the Colts Offense until the playoffs. Now if my Colts could learn to tackle, we might get to the Super Bowl. In any event a great game played by two great teams. No injuries, no contriversy just great football!

A game like today is exactly why Denver does not get respect in the national media. Smoke and mirrors. Defense didn't show up against the best offense. What a lousy defensive game plan. D. Williams isn't any better than Lenny Walls. What a joke. No pass rush...again! At least the offense played better. Offense scores 31 and loses. Who would have made that bet. I do not understand why the Broncos can't be more physical with Colts. Intimidated!! The Broncos are intimidated! The Colts never have to punt against the Broncos. Never. The Broncs have no answers, none.

Is it cold in here...or is it just me?

Your D is getting better Denver - the Colts only scored 33 not 49 or 40 something - well done!

We Broncos fans know what it's like to have the best QB in the league. We enjoyed it for a lot of years, including two Super Bowl wins. Clearly, Manning is the best at this time. As frustrating as it is to be on the opposite side, you just can't help but marvel at his ability. That said, I think Denver fans are not giving enough credit to the Colts O-line. The Broncos D is very good, and we have some good pass rushers in Dumervil and Chukwurah. Manning is in the enviable position of having great pass protection coupled with the ability to make quick decisions AND accurate throws. Six other teams before us this season didn't have the answer either.
