Who cares about the Raiders! Ever year I allways add two wins on our record. I Feel as long as we have coach Shanahan he will continue to crush the Raiders Al Davis or not.

Playing the Chefs is a more intense rivalry, currently. However! When I was a kid, the Raiders were The Dominant Team, in the AFC West, so, to me, it is oh so sweet to make fools of them time and time again. I also enjoy the mockery it makes of those who stroll around town in their Raiders jerseys thinkin they're all that. 4 wins last year. Wow.

Its okay if the Broncos beat the raiders, and if they can get 2 easy wins a season. They will always choke in the playoffs, unless the get Plummer out from behind the center. He can manage a game when the can run the ball, but if he is forced to drop back and win the game for them, he chokes.

I have to agree. Chalk up 2 W's. Coach Shanahan will always show no mercy, even if he won't admit it. I take delight in seeing the Raiders lose.

yes, it's true, right now the Chiefs are the more intense rivalry because there's actually a chance they can beat us at home and they always seem to beat us in Arrowhead. But the Raiders, they're the old school team to hate, but, it sure was a lot more fun to hate them when they were good. Still, I can't complain! I'm still a Raider Hater!

The Raiders lead the series 53-36-2 over the Broncos in regular season play since the teams first met in 1960. The Raiders have a higher overall winning percentage than the Broncos will ever have! Just remember that the Donkeys (Broncos) were horrible for many years, so try winning with some class.

I will die happy if the raiders never win another game.....

Before 1977, the Faiders owned the Broncos. Not until the AFC Championship that year did the team KNOW they could compete with Them (It's all over now, Fat man). I was at Mile High Stadium ( may it rest in peace)in '81 or '82 and saw "not so big Al" walking up to his booth in the east stands. I politely welcomed him to Denver and wished him an "L". His response, of course, was "F*#& You". Craig Morton ( The original #7) threw a late touchdown pass to Steve Watson and we won the game. Afterward, Lester Hayes displayed exceptional sportsmanship by telling the press that they lost the game but were still a superior team. Big Al and the rest of the team echoed those sentiments. Yes, I know we're not playing those Chokeland Faiders, but I still like stepping on the Silver and Bleak and their Committment to Excrement anytime the opportunity presents itself.

I think a healthy rivivalry is a nice thing to have. It helps brings fans together to get excited about something other than the Superbowl, which in my experience with people is the only game they will watch all year. Plus its kind of nice to say "yeah we beat our arch-rivals this past weekend."

It's ignorant to say the long-time rivalry is "a thing of the past." Just listen to any Bronco fan spit venom when discussing the Raiders, and how badly they want to beat them. Yes, it has been glarigly true that the Raiders have been doomed by the outdated philosophies mandated upon any Raider coach by ol' Al Davis, (just ask Shanahan himself) although they had very solid teams relatively recently under QB Gannon (as I remember it, the rivalry was definitely alive then as ethical and rightous Bronco fans threw batteries packed in snowballs at the evil, immoral and helmetless Raider players). But while we're talking about the rivalry and bashing the Raiders, let's not forget that they have three rings to the Broncos two, and although the Raiders lost embarrasingly ONCE in the superbowl to Tampa Bay, they haven't been completely and laughingly blown-out like the Broncos have on four or five different occasions in the superbowl, even with the beloved, saint-like, all-american whitebread businessman Elway.

I just can't help it. The raiders games are still special to me and for the Broncos to beat/whip them makes my weekend for sure! :) Yes, the chiefs are the more dominant of the teams now and fun to watch get beat by Denver. Just wish that Plummer was more consistent.

I live in the Oaklnad area now after living in Colorado Springs for 12 years. I am a HUGE Broncos fan and go to all the Broncos games out here. I love the rivalry between the teams, and since the Broncos "own" the Raiders now-days, there are an incredible number of Broncos haters out here. There is no question in this part of the country - there IS a rivalry, and Raiders gear up for the Broncos as much as the Broncos gear up for them. I believe the Broncos can manhandle the Raiders this year, but NEVER count them out. They take this rivalry very seriousely and would love nothing more than to get their first win by embaressing the Broncos at home, and are more comitted to win this week than they have been all season. ORANGE AND BLUE ALL THE WAY BABY!!

This Rivalry will never die. No one who calls themselves a Bronco Fan, will let this rivalry die. I watch every Bronco game and root for every Raider opponent. For me... My dream season is not only a 19-0 season for the Broncos, but also a 0-16 season for the Raiders. Even better would be a Raider season where they were crushed in every game. I have to say I'm also happy that the Oakland A's got swept by the Tigers.

It's amazing how far down the Raiders have gone in such a short time. That being said, the Broncos really have to be careful Sunday night. Realistically, the Raiders could be staking their ENTIRE season on this game, and if Plummer is off in La-La Land, things could get ugly from a Broncos point of view. I don't think that will happen... but be careful, Broncs.

I Think alot of the fans my age remember the 80's and when the teams were about even. If the broncos won it was on a great elway play. If the raiders one it was because HAYSE WAS SITTING ON STEVE WATSONS CHEST POKING HIM IN THE EYES AWAY FROM THE PLAY..... NO FLAG.

The Rivalry thrives in South Dakota ! If your not a Viqueens fan your a Broncos or Raiders fan. Hell, my boss is a Raiders fan. I'll Proudly wear my Broncos hat into his office tomorrow morning !! Al Davis Is the Seed of Chucky ! The Broncos will run Al and his team through the meat grinder !

Anyone who is a real Bronco's fan hates the Raiders. It is requirement! Al Davis is 90% of the problem. He is the only one who has sued his own league. He is arrogant and a has-been. I like many of the old Raiders players but will always hate the team as long as little Al and his big walker is around.

Used to be a big time Raiders fan having grown up in the Bay Area. Now that we have been in Denver for several years we are Bronco fans, but still love it when the Raiders come to town. I hope all the Raider Mutants show up tonight for Sunday Night Football. It's always a good time and a good game with the Broncos out in front.

The Raiders are bad - life is good. How can any Bronco fan not hate the raiders? I've hated them forever and always will. I'll take a 2-14 record as long as the wins are against the Raiders. To quote a wise man "My favorite teams are the Broncos and any team that plays the Raiders". I only hope our guys don't get too confident. On any given Sunday............!

The Raiders give us fits at Denver no matter how their season has been going. I just hope we do not become complacent during this game. They have nothing to loose and that is the way they play. I remember last year when they came to Denver and it snowed. They won the game. GO BRONCOS.

Forget the mental taunting, have Raider fans ever done anything like that, physically, to Broncos players?

Well, Pete (#28) if Raider fans haven't, it's only because they couldn't get their dog leashes unsnapped in time. Certainly this rivalry has its documented cases of onfield assault by the Raiders: An out-of-bounds hit by a Raider linebacker sidelining Elway in one game, and typical Raider class(lessness) shown by James Trapp, who although not even in uniform for a playoff game in Oakland vs. the Broncos, found it necessary to run onto the field and swing at Broncos players. Personally, if the Raiders never win again, I couldn't be happier. I enjoyed listening to John "fat man" Madden squirm during the game telecast, trying to find something good to say about the current Raiders team.

The Raiders are so bad, Mike and his coaching staff could save their high cards and spend them later in the year. The game plan was clearly to keep it simple. The Raiders were no threat from start to finish, allowing the Bronco's to keep the offense they have secretly stashed out of the hands of the film study crews in San Diego, Indy, Pits, etc....in other words..the good teams. You saw a glimps of what the Bronco offense can do when needed in the NE game. Otherwise, why let it out against crap like the Raiders. Mike is smarter than any of us..

Just a reminder to the Raider's, in the past fifteen years, you have fired two coaches who have gone on to win three Super Bowls. One of those wins was against the Raiders. Al Davis is a joke with apparently no sense of head coaching skills. He has now rehired an old school coach who, as I watch him on the sidelines, seems overwhelmed and/or uninterested in the Raider's streak of ineptitude.
